CFIT Framework: one year since its launch
It has been one year since the launch of the CFIT Framework for Circular and Fair ICT Procurement. This easy to use and freely available framework empowers organizations toย incorporate four core strategies:ย buy less, buy better, use better and use longer,ย to address adverse impacts of ICT.
In the development of the CFIT Framework, CFIT participants concluded that in order to make a positive impact, it is essential to considerย procurement as a cycle - including also the stages before and after the tender stage itself.
To help organizations translateย the framework into action, we have developed practical case studies from different countries that are accessible on our website.ย These examples serve as tangible illustrations of successful implementation of parts of the CFIT Framework.
