CFIT announced in WCEF+Climate Action Statement

A transition to a circular economy is a prerequisite for achieving climate neutrality and the goals of the Paris Agreement.

April 16, 2021 - During the WCEF+Climate conference, participants presented their commitments, known as action statements, to contribute to a circular economy. As statement #9, the governments of the Netherlands (I&W), Belgium (FIDO), Germany (BMU), Norway (DFO), the United Kingdom (DEFRA) and Austria (BMNT), and the Circular Innovation Council of Canada commit to launching the Circular and Fair ICT Pact (CFIT) under the UN One Planet Network SPP Programme, building an international network of ICT procurers to accelerate the transition to circular and fair ICT.

These partners are now preparing for the formal launch of the programme on June 14th, from 4-5 pm.

It is still possible to join CFIT! Contact us for more information.
